Photo Moment, Guilin, Guangxi Province sheds light on Wei’s complicated relationship with China – a culture he is from yet is foreign to as a current US resident. Shen Wei lives and works in New York City. He holds an MFA in photography, video, and related media from the School of Visual Arts, New York, a BFA in photography from Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and a degree in decorative arts from Shanghai Light Industry College.
