Ra-Harakti Egyptian Falcon God Statue shows Horus holding a staff on a black base decorated with hieroglyphs. Harakhte, meaning Horus of the Horizon, was the form which Horus took in his aspect as a god of light. He was identified with Ra as he made his daily journey from the eastern to the western horizon. He was shown as a falcon or a falcon-headed man with a solar disk in Egyptian mythology. Made from crushed stone and resin with hand painted gold and color details, on black base.
