RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum Album Award for 2Pac album Me Against The World. The album was released on March 14, 1995 and by Dec. 6, 1995 was certified 2x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA. Remember 2Pac's life and legacy on the 25th anniversary of his untimely passing with this rare award. The track "Dear Mama" topped the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart and hit #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. "So Many Tears" and "Temptations" also charted. The album itself debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and Top R&B/Hip-Hop charts and also rose to top spots in many other world markets. The release was also nominated for Best Rap Album and "Dear Mama" was nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance at the Grammy awards in 1996 and won Best Rap Album at the 1996 Soul Train Music Awards.
