Capitol Records 1964 "Beatles Award" radio industry award. This is an award from Capitol Records presented to radio station WSGN made to thank the station for their support of the Beatles during their first year in America. The laminated wood plaque award features early promotional photo of the Beatles with what are thought to be reproduction signatures. It is also printed with signatures of Capitol Records execs Stanley M. Gortikov and William B. Tallant, Jr. both of whom were with the label from 1960 and instrumental in promoting the Beatles in the U.S.  Gortikov would go on to become President of Capitol and in 1968 would sign the Beatles to a subsequent record contract.
