Beatles Anthology I RIAA 6x Multi-Platinum Album Award

RIAA 6x Multi-Platinum Album award for the Beatles Anthology I, which was released on November 21, 1995 and certified 6x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA on April 2, 1996, which this award celebrates. The album included the single "Free as a Bird" which was the first new Beatles song released in 25 years. The single went to  #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the UK singles chart and also won the Beatles a Grammy award in 1997 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The album itself went to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and #2 in the UK, also performing well in most other major music markets worldwide. By December of '96 it had been certified 8x Multi-Platinum.
