Billy Ocean "Caribbean Queen (No More Love On The Run)" Arista Records label "gold" single award. This track was released in 1984 and while this is not a RIAA award, the track was in fact certified Gold by the RIAA on Oct. 31, 1984 for 500,000 copies sold. Note: This is not a RIAA award. The single went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also went to #6 on the UK Singles Chart and was actually re-recorded for different music markets around the world as "European Queen" and "African Queen". The track also won Ocean a Grammy award in 1985 for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, making him the first British artist to win the category.
