Billy Squier Don't Say No RIAA Platinum Album Award

RIAA Platinum LP award for Billy Squier Don't Say No album, which was released on April 15, 1981. This award celebrates that on Sept. 18, 1981 the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million copies sold. Early Billy Squier awards are very hard to find. The album produced the major hits "Lonely Is the Night", "In the Dark", "My Kinda Lover" and "The Stroke", all of which received heavy radio airplay and, with the advent of MTV, video play as well. The album peaked at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, and spent 111 weeks on the tally, and scored high chart positions in Australia and Canada as well. By 1992 the album was certified 3x Multi-Platinum for three million copies sold.
