Bon Jovi New Jersey RIAA Gold LP Award

RIAA Gold album for Bon Jovi album New Jersey, which was released on Sept. 19, 1988. The album was certified Gold for 500,000 sold and all the way up to 3x Multi-Platinum just two months later on Nov. 18. This, the band's fourth studio album, was a success with heavy radio airplay for “Bad Medicine”, “Lay Your Hands On Me”, and “Born To Be My Baby” the album topped the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. The album was certified 7x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA by 1996 for 7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone and with having gone multi-platinum in numerous other world markets.
