Boston debut CRIA 5x Platinum Album Award presented to drummer Sib Hashian - RARE

CRIA 5x Platinum Album award for Boston's self-titled debut album presented to Boston drummer Sib Hashian. Released in 1976, the group's album was certified 5x Platinum in Canada by the CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association). Remember the late Sib Hashian (1947-2017) with this award . The album, one of the best-selling debuts of all time, contained hits such as "More Than A Feeling", "Rock And Roll Band", "Peace Of Mind", "Foreplay/Long Time" and more now classic tracks. On its' way to becoming a smash debut, it peaked at #7 on the Canada Top Albums chart. With this award at 5x Platinum, that represened 500,000 copies sold in Canada, a country of then about 25 million people. The album was also certified Diamond for 1,000,000 copies sold in 1997. In the U.S. the album has been certified 17x Platinum (Diamond plus 7x Multi-Platinum) by the RIAA.
