Coolio "Gangsta's Paradise" and Dangerous Minds OST Combo RIAA Award

Combo RIAA Platinum Award for Coolio track "Gangsta's Paradise" and 3x Multi-Platinum Award for Dangerous Minds soundtrack album. The Coolio track was released on Aug. 1, 1995 and certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million on Oct. 5 that year. The film soundtrack was released July 11, 1995 and certified 3x Multi-Platinum on Dec, 22 1995 for three million sold. Remember Coolio (1963-2022) with this award. Coolio's classic rap track went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and almost every other world chart and also won a Grammy in 1996 for Best Solo Rap Performance. Included on the soundtrack for the film Dangerous Minds, it was joined by tracks from Big Mike, DeVante Swing, Sista (Missy Elliot), Wendy & Lisa (of Prince fame), and more. The soundtrack album reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and it also charted highly in numerous other world markets.
