RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum Album award for Depeche Mode album Violator. Released on March 20, 1990, the album was certified 2x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA on March 19, 1991 for two million copies sold.  The album contained massive worldwide hits "Personal Jesus" and "Enjoy the Silence" along with "Policy of Truth" and "World in My Eyes". The album reached #7 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and #2 in the U.K. It also charted in many other countries worldwide with notable success across all of Europe, Canada, and Australia.
