RIAA 7x Multi-Platinum LP award for the original soundtrack album for 1987 film Dirty Dancing. Released on July 18, 1987, the award celebrates that by May 20, 1988 the album was certified 7x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for seven million in copies sold. This mega-selling album featured tracks from Eric Carmen ("Hungry Eyes"), Bill Withers and Jennifer Warnes ("(I've Had) The Time Of My Life"), The Ronettes "Be My Baby"), lead actor Patrick Swayze himself ("You're Like The Wind") and more. The album spent 18 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and topped the charts on many other world charts.
