RIAA Gold LP "white matte" award for Edgar Winter Group album Shock Treatment. This album was the group's fourth studio album and was released in May 1974. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on July 18, 1974 for one million dollars worth sold. The album, with the Edgar Winter line up after Ronnie Montrose was replaced by Rick Derringer, featured two charting tracks which were "Easy Street" and "River's Risin' ". The album went to #13 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart and also did well in Canada, hitting #9 on the chart there.
