RIAA Platinum Album award for Emotions album Rejoice. Released in April 1977, the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA on Sept. 1, 1977 for one million copies sold.* This classic R&B album contained "Best Of Love" (penned by Earth Wind & Fire's Al McKay and Maurice White) which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Soul charts and won the group a Grammy award for Best R&B Performance By a Duo or Group with Vocals. "Don't Ask My Neighbors" also charted.
