RIAA Gold Single Award for Foreigner single "I Want To Know What Love Is". Released on Nov. 21, 1984, it was certified Gold by the RIAA for 500,000 copies sold on March 25, 1985. A single released from the group's fifth album, Agent Provocateur, it hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK charts. It also went to #1 in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and charted highly in many other countries. Tom Bailey (keyboards) and Jennifer Holiday (background vocals) guested on the track, setting off Lou Gramm's spectacular lead vocal.
