Hole Celebrity Skin RIAA Platinum Album Award

RIAA Platinum Album award for Hole album Celebrity Skin. Released on Sept. 8, 1998, it was certified Platinum on Dec. 21, 1998 for one million copies sold.  The group's third and final album, Courtney Love worked to include collaborations with several other artists and players including Billy Corgan and Melissa Auf der Maur (Smashing Pumpkins), Deen Castronovo (Journey), Charlotte Caffey (The GoGos) and others.  The album reached #9 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, featuring the singles "Awful", "Malibu" and the title track. The album also charted in numerous other countries.
