RIAA 3x Multi-Platinum Album Award for Mariah Carey album Emotions. The album was released on Sept. 17, 1991 and certified 3x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA on Feb. 14, 1992 for three million copies sold. The second studio album for Carey, it included the Billboard Hot 100 #1 title track, "Can't Let Go" which hit #2, and "Make It Happen" which peaked at #5.
