Virgin Records UK Label award for Meat Loaf album Bat Out Of Hell II. Released on Sept. 14, 1993, this award celebrates 300,000 copies sold in the UK in 1993. By early 1994 it was certified 4x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA (Note: This is not a RIAA award). The album contained the Jim Steinman-penned hit "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)", which hit #1 in 28 countries and had several other singles that charted. The album reached #1 in the UK and also in the U.S., Canada, Germany and many other world markets.
