RIAA Platinum Album Award for Nickelback album Silver Side Up. Released on September 11, 2001, by Oct. 11, 2001 the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA. The third studio album from the Canadian group produced the hit "How You Remind Me" which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and many other singles charts worldwide. The album reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart while reaching #1 in Austria, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK and the top 10 in numerous other world markets. The group won a Juno Award the year of its' release and were also nominated for an American Music Award. By 2005 the album was certified 6x Multi-Platinum for six million copies sold.
