Skillet Awake RIAA Gold Album Award

RIAA Gold Award for Skillet album Awake. Released on Aug. 25, 2009, the album was certified Gold by the RIAA for 500,000 copies sold on July 27, 2010. The group's second studio album included the singles "Awake and Alive", "Hero", and "Monster" which were, respectively, certified 2x Multi-Platinum, 3x Mutli-Platinum, and 5x Multi-Platinum. The album reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.
