The Smithereens II RIAA Gold Album Award

Remember Pat DiNizio (1955-2017) and celebrate The Smithereens with this RIAA Gold Album award for their album II. This was the group's third album released on Oct. 18, 1989 and its only Gold record to date. It was certified Gold®  on  June 7, 1990 for 500,000 copies sold.  The album peaked at #41 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, driven by singles "A Girl Like You" and "Blues Before And After".
