Unusual two album RIAA Platinum Album award for U2 album Achtung Baby and the Elton John/Bernie Taupin tribute album Two Rooms. Released on Nov. 19, 1991 and Nov. 1 ,1991 respectively, the albums were certified Platinum for one million sold by the RIAA on Mar. 22, 1992 and Jan. 21, 1992. U2's seventh album produced several major hits including "Mysterious Ways", "One", and "Even Better Than the Real Thing", and "The Fly". The album topped the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and many other charts around the world. By 1997 the album was certified 8x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for eight million sold.
