Class 11/2 - Small Circumference Knitting!

November 2nd 10:30-12:30 Come learn tips and techniques that will increase your ease and speed when knitting socks, hats, sweater sleeves, and mittens (anything with a small circumference). You choose your favorite - magic loop or double-point needles! Using a 32” circular needle, you can knit an entire sock or hat on one needle – or you can use double points! We will practice casting on and connecting in the round without twisting as well as knitting full rounds/rows using either technique.  This class is suitable for advanced beginners who are confident with knit and purl stitches and have some experience knitting in the round. Materials: 32” circular US 7 or 8 needle OR Double-Point needles (DPN), some worsted weight yarn in a light to medium color, a couple of locking stitch markers.
