
Class 5/25 - Intro to Knitting Cables
May 25th 10:30-12:30 Please join us for this class designed to demystify cabling. We will get you started on your way to making a cabled hat - learning all the techniques necessary to cable anything with ease. This is an advanced beginner class – you should be confident with knit and purl stitches, and have a bit of experience knitting in the round and using increase/decrease stitches. Skills you will learn/practice: reading charts and understanding terminology, using cable needles or stitch markers to hold stitches in the front and back of your work, "reading" your knitting to make sure the pattern is unfolding as you wish. Materials for class: US 8 needles, worsted weight yarn, cable needle.
