The Element comes featuring a boutique-quality mic preamps and selectable 48V phantom power intended for connecting the microphones, instruments, or line-level sources. The 46 is capable of offering four analog inputs with the use of four XLR-1/4" combo connectors, while the six outputs are offered by using two balanced XLR and two 1/4" TRS stereo headphone connectors. Additional I/O is being offered from a single set of optical TOSLINK ports that is capable to provide ADAT, SMUX, and S/PDIF protocols.
