When Audio Technica ATW-R1700 is paired with a transmitter and microphone (sold separately), it can be used on a cold shoe or hot shoe of a video camera, DSLR, mirrorless, or other similar camera for digital film making and electronic news gathering (ENG) applications. Audio Technica ATW-R1700 receiver features an independent headphone monitor output and selectable balanced or unbalanced audio outputs on a 3.5 mm mini-jack connector. The Audio Technica ATW-R1700 unit is powered by an internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery.
