The Audix D2 is designed with a hypercardioid pickup pattern for isolation and feedback control and is equipped with a VLM diaphragm for natural, accurate sound reproduction Also, the Audix D2 features an excellent choice for miking instruments with a percussive nature such as rack toms, congas, saxophones, guitar cabinets and brass. The Audix D2 has a transformer less design, low impedance and balanced output insure that the Audix D2 hypercardioid instrument microphone will perform interference-free. ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER SPECIFICATIONS The microphone shall be of the dynamic type operating on the moving coil principle and the capsule shall be VLM Type B.
