Powered by comms Telephone Interface The Pro Intercom AD950 is a inexpensive, simplified device that is designed for connecting the intercom system to a standard telephone line. Just like a beltpack is how it is connected to the intercom system, using the rear panel 3-pin XLR. For looping through to the next station on the circuit there is a second XLR provided. The connection to the telephone line is made possible using the standard telephone cable. The Pro Intercom AD950 doesn't have an auto answer feature. When red LED is flashing, it is indicating that there's an incoming call, moving the hook switch fron On to Off will answer the call and connect it to the intercom system. For connecting a simple telephone with a DTMF keypad there is a second modular jack on the rear, for initiating calls from the Pro Intercom AD950. Simply move the hook switch to Off and dial the number.
