Hand-sculpting of fine bisque  ( non-glazed ) porcelain was first demonstrated by French artist Paul de Bourgoing in 1828. Limoges porcelain has a signature translucency which is enhanced by the glow of a candle which shines through the raised and carved surface, contrasting shadows and light revealing it's rich design. Meticulously cast fine porcelain votive light with highly detailed  Nativity scene. Crafted in Limoges, France, of engraved bisque porcelain, this votive arrives with a heavenly-scented votive candle. Can also be used with a small led light.
