Years ago when we started making our own products, we tried making deodorant. We had a finished tube from a store-bought type and tried running it under scalding water to get all the old deodorant out. It would. Not. Come. Out. And it stuck to our hands and wouldn’t wash off.  It made us realize: wow we’ve been putting this on our bodies for years. Decades even. And even after a shower of scrubbing our armpits, we likely weren’t actually cleaning like we thought.
