Otrivin reduces excessive congestion of the nasal mucosa and thus quickly releases nasal congestion . It helps to release the accumulated mucus so it can breathe more freely . It is used to restore the patency of a nasal congestion caused by colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis or sinusitis . It is also suitable for patients with sensitive nasal mucosa, contains soothing and moisturizing substances, prevents dryness and irritation of the nasal mucosa. Dosage: Adults and adolescents from 12 years dosed 1-3 times daily 1 spray in each nostril as needed. Maximum 3 applications per nostril daily. The last daily dose may be given shortly before going to bed. The effect takes up to 2 minutes and lasts up to 12 hours. Use maximum 7 days without consulting your doctor . Use during pregnancy is not appropriate and breastfeeding should be consulted with a physician on the suitability of use.
