Sensicutan is a cortisone-free ointment. Sensicutan ointment contains the two active ingredients bisabolol and heparin sodium. This coordinated and balanced combination leads to an inhibition of inflammation with a rapid onset of action and relieves the often unpleasant itching. The skin-friendly emulsion system of the ointment base allows Sensicutan ointment to be used on dry, normal and moist skin.Sensicutan ointment is used as an additional treatment for inflammatory, non-infectious, severely itchy skin diseases. Contraindications Sensicutan ointment must not be used: if you are allergic to bisabolol, or heparin sodium or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).If there is a tendency to bleed and if there is a reduced number of thrombocytes, the use of heparin preparations should be avoided.
