Stoptussin  suppresses dry, irritating , difficult-to-control  cough of  various origins. At the same time,  it makes it easier to clear the mucus . Stoptussin contains two active substances. Butamyrate soothes an irritating cough but does not dampen the respiratory center. Guaifenesin reduces the viscosity of mucus and thus facilitates the transport of mucus and expectoration. You can use the practical form of tablets, for example, when traveling. Stoptussin tablets can be taken by adults and children from 12 years of age. Dosage The tablets are taken according to the patient's weight. Up to 50 kg take 1/2 tablet 4 times a day, patients weighing 50 - 70 kg take 1 tablet 3 times a day, weighing 70 - 90 kg 3 times a day 1 and 1/2 tablets and over 90 kg 3 tablets 3 times a day. The interval between doses should be 4-6 hours. Do not use for more than 7 days without
