Stoptussin drops reduce cough irritation , alter the composition of the bronchial mucus, making it easier to cough. Stoptussin is used to treat dry, irritating and difficult to cough in viral infections of the upper and lower airways, inflammation of the larynx, bronchi and lungs. Stoptussin oral drops can be used by adults, adolescents and children from 6 months of age.  Dosage The preparation is dosed according to the weight of the patient.
