Ground guarana seed contains about 4% caffeine, which is almost twice as much as we would find in coffee. Another active ingredient is theophylline, a substance that is also found in tea, or theobromine, which we would find in cocoa beans. Guarana extract is beneficial for our immune system and supports physical and mental activity. It also contributes to weight control and has a positive effect on fat metabolism and normal digestion.
