Tusk VI proudly carries on the tradition that began with the original Tusk in 1997. He has even made appearances at bowl games, and the state Capitol. On game day, fans can stop by to feed him grapes, snap a photo, and sometimes catch him enjoying fresh apples. Tusk VI’s eighth birthday arrives soon on April 19, and his retirement is approaching.
