Twizzler Worm

A MylesHigh original worm variation inspired by the famed San Juan Worm. This fly includes twisted chenille to simulate the clitellum (bulge) many worms have. While this fly is unweighted from a bead or lead perspective, it contains densely-wrapped wire to give it a little help staying down in fast currents frequently fished during spring and early summer. Those without dense wire contain a bit a flash to help them stand out. This is typically the only worm we fish, it is so productive it is hard to justify tying any other worm on!
