Moisture Max: This is Yard Mastery’s version of “Hopped Up Hydretain” because it contains the humectants that hold water in soil, just like Hydretain, and in addition, it’s spiked with a penetrating surfactant that breaks the surface tension of hydrophobic soils and helps saturate the turf root system. It also contains sea kelp to encourage thicker/deeper grassroots so more water can be utilized by the turf prior to evaporation. This is the granular version for those who prefer to spread rather than spray. This product does not stink so there is no concern there. (We used to get complaints about Hydretain Granular because it was quite pungent!)
