After years of careful selection, this plot was identified for its unique ability to express the terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with a single varietal. With a gentle southwest-facing aspect, these vines capture direct sunlight in the late afternoon and are also exposed to the famed Le Mistral, the cold wind from the North. The grapes are hand-picked and hand-sorted, before fermentation in wooden tanks. Pumpovers and punchdowns occur daily during fermentation to ensure optimal extraction of the grapes' compounds.
