This Time Around

Em Randall is a painter and illustrator based in Northern Michigan. Her work primarily focuses on figures who strike a balance between memory and myth, often inspired by folklore, personal nostalgia, and collective symbolism. Show Title: Search Party Curious wanderers and dedicated seekers fill the spaces of Search Party, making their way through a dark wood on different paths. Some have already exited on the other side, holding to what they found and hopeful to find their way back some day. Some are lost, eyes adapting to the bent shadows and hollow clearings—sanguine and alert for indicators that they aren’t alone.
