The special exclusivity comes from using powder metallurgical, stainless Damascus steel from Sweden. In a very technically demanding and complex process, 180 layers of Damascus steel are created in a sintering process to create the perfect starting material for the fine hand-sharpening of the blades.   The traditional extra-hollow-grind (sound) lets the fine edge carries a tune and lets the beautiful and extraordinarily fine grain of the natural Damascus pattern shine. The 5/8 inch wide blade has a two-sided serration for a safe grip. Boker Damascus Straight Razors are completely hand-made in the Boker knife manufacture in Solingen in a 150-step process.
