Bamboo Zaru Tray - Small

I am a Small Bamboo Zaru Tray. Cooling soba? Draining noodles? I make light work of tasks that would leave others in a woven tangle.   Curator's Notes  There’s a certain ease that comes with having these bamboo baskets around the home. Whether I’m filling a bowl with fruit for the counter or setting a tray out with bread and spreads for guests, they always find a way to blend seamlessly into my dining and kitchen routines. Designed by Kohchosai Kosuga, these baskets are inspired by the traditional take-zaru drainers used in Japanese kitchens, often for preparing and eating soba noodles or preparing produce but, have been reimagined to be as versatile as they are beautiful. Each piece is densely woven for durability yet feels incredibly lightweight, making them just as practical for pantry storage as they are for dining or holding household objects.
