Cara Mug

I am a linden wood mug. I’ll stand out from the rest of the cups in your pantry. My unique natural wood grain will find a way into your heart to become your new favorite coffee mug. Or any hot drink, for that matter.     Curator's Notes   A simple, light wooden mug for everyday use. A perfect alternative to more common ceramic tablewares and a unique piece to call your own. Wooden vessels make me feel like I'm drinking out of a piece of art and I especially like that feeling. The mug and handle are carved with such attention and care. "Cara" is a series of egg-shaped tablewares making the most of the warmth of wood as a material and Japanese thin-wood-curving techniques. The curvatures of the pieces are meant to mimic the egg so as to fit gently within your hands.
