The word ‘angel’ is derived from the Greek word aggelos, or messenger. The angel is the messenger God and humankind. Handcrafted by artisans in a Fair-Trade cooperative in Guatemala by a group of widows and young women who make beaded jewelry and other items. Profits support basic living supplies for elderly widows, education and medical expenses.
