Polychromatic Embossed Golden Yellow Transferware Botanical Handled Compote ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PIECES! Circa 1900 This stunning piece features a scalloped and embossed rim with plumes of gilt highlights.  The golden transfer border features bluebells and trailing leaves.  It has ornately pierced handles. It stands on a base that matches the border. The colorful face of the plate is a large bouquet containing a plethora of cut flowers you'd find in an English Country garden, such as bluebells, phlox, iris, peony, Rose and more! GORGEOUS!!! Measures  appx. 12" x 9 1/4" x 2 1/4" highCondition: No chips or cracks.
