It is now the centerpiece of the Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania  The plates image was engraved in copper and produced on transferware.  The border is surrounded with several cartouches pertaining to significant times and/or peoples of the U.S. history....The Mayflower in Plymouth Harbour, an American Indian on horseback with bow and arrow, a Pilgrim couple watching the Mayflower return, and Pocohontas saving the life of John Smith.  Measures: appx 8 3/8" Condition: Tiny chip on back
