Scenic Brown English Transferware Platter This listing is for a beautiful brown transferware plate by J&G Meakin, of Staffordshire, England in the Stratford Stage pattern. This scene depicts an old English village complete with Tudor buildings and cottages with the stage coach preparing for a trip and loading its passengers and their luggage. Two small children stand near the fence and wave them away on their journey. The border is a lovely blend of Victorian scrolls and lush florals. This platter measures 12" x 9". This pattern is becoming very hard to find. I love the wonderful traveler scene!
