Baby Alpaca is one of the most luxurious fibers plus incredibly warm, light weight and strong. It has hypoallergenic properties, it contains no lanolin, which makes the fibre safe to wear if you have skin allergies. Alpaca is said to be three times warmer than sheep wool and has excellent insulation properties.  Merino fiber is not only extremely fine, but has fiber memory which helps a merino garment stretch yet return back to its original shape.  All of my tonals are slightly variegated.  By dyeing them this way it gives you more highs and lows in your knitting, crochet or weaving project and more interest in the piece as well as sets it apart from Big Box store yarns.
