Diamond Resin 1"x6" Plates for Nano Rasp and Edge Pro Style Sharpening Systems

These diamond resin plates are designed for NANO RASP and Edge Pro–style sharpening jigs. The resin binder is significantly softer than any other currently available, making the plate surface much easier to maintain. It is environmentally friendly, slightly hydrophilic, and exceptionally durable. Sharpening can be performed completely dry or with just a few drops of water. From time to time, we also recommend applying a light coating of a very thin oil—such as camellia oil—to the plate surface. This helps even out scratch patterns and enhances the final polish. For best results, finish each grit with stropping (trailing-edge) strokes to further refine and smooth the scratch pattern. This abrasive system behaves differently from traditional water stones and formaldehyde-based resin bonds. It requires significantly less pressure to achieve optimal results.
