Wild Love August 2022 Ink Collection

Thank you for helping me name August's Ink Collection: Wild Love. This photo was taken at church on Easter Sunday. This year was a little different. Normally you would find me onstage singing and leading worship for church at events like this, but I went through a pretty traumatic experience right before Easter. One that demanded my full attention and pain to be felt. So I stepped down for half a year and, instead of serving, I just attended service. This was probably one of the best decisions I'd ever made for myself. I'm learning to relearn what rest looks like and how to pause.I'm learning that my worth isn't my productivity or my ability to do.I'm learning that I need Jesus every second, every minute, every hour, every day. This wild love that I've experienced through my community, therapy, time spent in prayer and reflection, and space to just be has been so healing for my soul.
